Interesting...
So I read this morning in the Boston Globe a little tidbit saying that the Front Office is very interested in bringing back Kevin Millar for a bat off the bench and to help energize the clubhouse. I would love that! Millar's clubhouse presence was such a big part of the 2004 and 2005 seasons. His bat isn't that great, but he's pretty cheap, and he could be a late-innings replacement. And his personality would be so important to help keep guys relaxed and joking around. He was sorely missed this year, and he seemed to miss Boston as much as we missed him.
Bring him back, Theo! Bring him back!
Bring him back, Theo! Bring him back!

Julie, ya know what? His best role would be as the babysitter of Manny. That is....if Manny is STILL being Manny with our club in '07. Hope you are well! I miss those daily posts, but between the Red Sox' absence and school, I totally understand. Hope your autumn will be fantastic.

As much as I love Kevin Millar's attitude and such, the thought of him being at the plate with a game on the line, fills me with dread...
I would have no problem taking him back, BUT he has to understand its as a BENCH player--none of this whining when he doesn't start...
Hope you are well Julie...:-)
